Nanfang Engineering Co. of Guangzhou Economic & Technological Development District (GZETDD), established in 1986, is subordinated to the Construction & Development Co. of GZETDD. Within the District, it is the only enterprise of construction, installation and engineering right under GZETDD. It holes the qualification certificates of Grade III Equipment Installation and Grade III Construction & Decoration, as well as qualification certificates on installation of electrical equipment of and below 1000w and pipework of and below DN150. It is mainly engaged in designing, consultation, installation, commission, improvement and maintenance of water feeding, drainage, electrical equipment, ventilation, clean room, environmental protection, network, workmanship pipeline, general equipment, construction equipment, steel structure, indoor and outdoor decoration and other services.
　　　Since establishment, it has completed hundreds of projects of every kind with overall contract value of one billion. Through gradual development, it has built up a construction team constituted by more than 300 engineering personnel, among them, more than 50 are professional technicians (50% of which hole medium or senior technical titles) with high level of engineering management, strong capabilities in technology and construction experience and well equipped with all kinds of completed sets of equipment for fabrication, installation and checking. Managing system and operation procedures of systematization, standardization and science has been built up based on the construction practices, especially the services offered to the foreign capital enterprises. All the projects have been completed in compliance with the requirements on qualify, quantity and time with qualified rate of 100% and excellent rate of 50%, specially, the Water-supply Work of Pepsi-Asia Soft Drink Manufacturer was awarded Prize of Grade B by Guangzhou Public Utilities Bureau in 1996.
